Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee commenced consideration of the subject matter of Supplementary Estimates (B), 2023-24: Votes 1b, 5b and 10b under the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, and Vote 1b under the International Joint Commission (Canadian Section).

Shirley Carruthers made a statement and, with Amanda Strohan and Peter MacDougall, answered questions.

At 5:47 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:52 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee proceed a briefing on the situation in Israel and Gaza.

Alexandre Lévêque and Sébastien Beaulieu made statements and answered questions.
