Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the committee resumed its study of environmental and human rights considerations regarding Canadian mining firms abroad.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 5:10 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:11 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted on Monday, January 30, 2023, the committee commence its consideration of Bill C-282, An Act to amend the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act (supply management), on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

At 5:20 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
