Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motions adopted by the committee on Monday, June 13, 2022, and Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the committee resumed its study of safe sport in Canada.

Motion

Kevin Waugh moved, — That Hockey Canada be ordered to provide the committee, within 24 hours of the adoption of this motion, the final report by Henein Hutchison, regarding the June 2018 alleged Sexual Assault Case in London Ontario at the Hockey Canada Foundation Gala.

Debate arose thereon.

Amendment

Chris Bittle moved, — That the motion be amended by adding after the words “Canada Foundation Gala” the following: “; provided that the document be first deposited with the Office of the Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel and reviewed by that office for any potential redactions necessary for the protection of the privacy of the individuals impacted.”.

After debate, the question was put on the amendment of Chris Bittle and it was agreed to.

The motion, as amended, read as follows:

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 1:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
