The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the draft News Release in relation to the committee’s report entitled Canada and Taiwan: A Strong Relationship in Turbulent Times be adopted.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the matter of police service stations, the analysts prepare a report for the committee’s consideration, and that pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the matter of investment funds, the members submit their lists of suggested witnesses to the clerk no later than on Thursday, March 30, 2023, and that the committee hear from witnesses in relation to this matter on Monday, April 24, 2023.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the matter of Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy, the members submit their lists of suggested witnesses to the clerk no later than on Friday, April 21, 2023, and that the analysts prepare a work plan on this matter for the committee’s consideration.

At 7:55 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 8:04 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to the order of reference of Monday, May 16, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the Canada–People’s Republic of China relations.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 9:29 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
