The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $38,500, for the study of efforts to stabilize food prices, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 19, 2023, the committee resumed its study of efforts to stabilize food prices.

Sylvain Charlebois, Keith Currie, Diane J. Brisebois and Karl Littler made statements and, with Stacey Taylor and Scott Ross, answered questions.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Ian Lee, Tyler McCann and Marcus Janzen made statements and answered questions.

At 1:04 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
