Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 3, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the experience of women Veterans.

Helen L. Wright made a statement and, with Lisa Noonan and Iain Beck, answered questions.

On motion of Rachel Blaney, it was agreed, — That the clerk of the committee be authorized to place an advertisement in detailing the committee’s work and inviting briefs and requests to appear in relation to the committee’s study respecting the experience of women Veterans; and that the deadline for the submission of briefs and requests to appear be Friday, September 29, 2023.

It was agreed, — That the Chair write a letter to the Minister of National Defence to invite Lieutenant-General Lise Bourgon, Major-General Marc Bilodeau and Lieutenant-Colonel Andrea Tuka, to appear before the committee in relation to the study of the experience of women Veterans.

At 5:31 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
