Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, the committee resumed its study of survivor pension benefits (marriage after 60).

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, the committee invite the Minister of Veterans Affairs on Monday, December 5, 2022, and that the first hour be in relation to the study of the impact of the new rehabilitation contract awarded by the Department of Veterans Affairs on the role of the case manager and quality of service delivery, and the second hour be in relation to the study of the Supplementary Estimates (B), 2022-23, in accordance with the motion adopted on November 21, 2022.

It was agreed, — That the Department of Veterans Affairs be directed to provide the committee within 48 hours of adoption of this motion with all departmental documents related to Standard Operating Procedures for recording calls between Veterans and Veterans Service Agents as well as between Veterans and Case Managers.

It was agreed, — That the Department of Veterans Affairs Canada provides to the committee a copy of the contract for rehabilitation services between the Department and Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services by December 2, 2022.

At 12:26 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
