The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the committee produce a report on the study of the Parole Board of Canada and the Circumstances that Led to a Young Woman's Death, including concrete recommendations based on witness testimony which the government can implement to help ensure such a crime never occurs again, and that the Chair present the report, once finalized, in the House of Commons at the earliest opportunity.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the report on the Parole Board and the Circumstances that led to a Young Woman’s Death, proposed recommendations be submitted to the clerk of the committee by Friday, April 30, 2021.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 8, 2020, the committee resumed its study of systemic racism in policing in Canada.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:15 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 5:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
