Yves Giroux made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
Pierre Paul-Hus moved, — That the Chair of the committee write to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement on behalf of members of this committee in order to express their serious concerns in relation to the Minister’s lack of availability to testify before this committee and answer their questions related to procurement, including the Canadian Surface Combatants, during the study of the Supplementary Estimates (C), 2020-21.
After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
YEAS: Matthew Green, Rachael Harder, Kelly McCauley, Pierre Paul-Hus, Julie Vignola — 5;
NAYS: Francis Drouin, Majid Jowhari, Steven MacKinnon, Patrick Weiler — 4.
