Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, October 9, 2020, the committee resumed its study of urban, rural, and northern Indigenous housing.

Margaret Pfoh and Henry Wall made statements and answered questions.

At 4:41 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:48 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Tina Stevens and Andrea Jibb made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer submit to the committee an embargoed version of the report containing a costing analysis of urban, rural, and northern Indigenous housing on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of its study of urban, rural, and northern Indigenous housing, the committee request that the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer submit a summary document in advance of presenting its full report containing a costing analysis of urban, rural, and northern Indigenous housing.

Motion

Adam Vaughan moved, — That the meeting of Tuesday, February 16, 2021, be dedicated to hearing from the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer in relation to its report containing a costing analysis of urban, rural, and northern Indigenous housing and to provide drafting instructions to the analysts in the context of the committee study of urban, rural, and northern Indigenous housing.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.

At 5:46 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
