Cybersecurity in the Financial Sector as a National Economic Security Issue

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of cybersecurity in the financial sector as a national economic security issue.

It was agreed, — That the speaking notes presented by Jill Slay and Yuval Shavitt be taken as read and published in today’s Evidence.

Jill Slay, by videoconference from Melbourne, Australia, and Yuval Shavitt made statements and answered questions.

At 4:28 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 4:48 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
