Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, the Subcommittee resumed its study of women human rights defenders.

Arbia Jebali, by teleconference from Lisbon, Portugal, Hend Bouziri, by teleconference from Tunis, Tunisia, and Gloria Chicaiza, by videoconference from Quito, Ecuador, made statements and answered questions.

At 1:59 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
