Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, the Committee commenced its study of challenges faced by senior women with a focus on the factors contributing to their poverty and vulnerability.

Jackie Holden and Charles MacArthur made statements and, with Romy Bowers, Catherine Scott and Karen Hall, answered questions.

At 9:42 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:46 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Danielle Bélanger, Anne Milan and Anna Romano made statements and, with Sébastien Larochelle-Côté, answered questions.

At 10:39 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:40 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 10:43 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
