Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, June 7, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of electoral reform.

Benoît Pelletier and Arend Lijphart, by videoconference from San Francisco, California, made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the Analysts and the Clerks, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's website, announcing the e-consultation and that the deadline to participate in the e-consultation be Friday, October 7, 2016, at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).

At 4:43 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
