Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing on Protected Areas and Conservation Finance in Canada.

Niall O'Dea and Michael Nadler made statements and, with Mark Cauchi, answered questions.

At 4:55 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:00 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the Committee's study of disaster mitigation and insurance, members submit suggested witnesses to the Clerk by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019.

At 5:24 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
