Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, September 29, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of mental health and suicide prevention among veterans.

Claude Lalancette, Dr. Elspeth Cameron Ritchie, by videoconference from Portland, Oregon, Dr. Remington Nevin and Dr. Donald Gregory Passey made statements and answered questions.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
