The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 11:51 a.m. this day, in the Haven Lounge, The Haven Inn, St Anthony, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Chair, Gerald Keddy, presiding. |
Members of the Committee present: Raynald Blais, Hon. Gerry Byrne, Randy Kamp, Gerald Keddy, James Lunney and Fabian Manning. |
Associate Members present: Scott Simms. |
In attendance: Library of Parliament: François Côté, Analyst. House of Commons: Alexandre Roger, Committee Clerk. |
Witnesses: As individuals: Normand Cull, Fisherman; Hubert Randell, Boat Builder. |
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of the issue of new rules for boat stability, and in particular, the matter of the fishery boat length requirements. |
The witnesses made statements and answered questions. |
At 1:07 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. |
