The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met at 12:08 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Peter Adams, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Marlene Catterall, Rodger Cuzner, Yvon Godin, Michel Guimond, Lynn Myers, Carolyn Parrish, Geoff Regan, Jacques Saada, Benoît Sauvageau.

Acting Member present: Ken Epp for Dale Johnston.

Other Members present: Paul Crête; Louis Plamondon.

Associate Member present: Stéphane Bergeron.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Margaret Young, analyst.

Witnesses: From the House of Commons: Derek Lee, John Williams, Diane Ablonczy.

Pursuant to its mandate under Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii), the Committee resumed consideration of matters related to the inclusion of a code of conduct in the Standing Orders of the House.

The witnesses each made a statement and answered questions.

At 1:45 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
