Thursday, June 6, 2002
The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met in camera at 9:11 a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Wayne Easter, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Sarkis Assadourian, John Cummins, Rodger Cuzner, Wayne Easter, Loyola Hearn, Dominic LeBlanc, James Lunney, Bill Matthews, Jean-Yves Roy, Paul Steckle, Tom Wappel.
Acting Member present: John Efford for Tom Wappel.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Alan Nixon, François Côté, Research Officers.
It was agreed, - That the Committee hold a press conference following the tabling of the Tenth Report in the House.
By unanimous consent, the Committee continued consideration of a draft report on salmon fisheries management on the Fraser River.
The Committee proceeded to consider matters related to the future business of the Committee.
At 9:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
