The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 9:35 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Maurizio Bevilacqua, presiding.

Member(s) of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Carolyn Bennett, Maurizio Bevilacqua, Scott Brison, Roy Cullen, Ken Epp, Jason Kenney, Sophia Leung, Yvan Loubier, Shawn Murphy, Lorne Nystrom.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee continued its Pre-Budget Consultations.

Ghislain Fournier, Peter Barnes, Dr. Patricia Clements, Marcel Lauzière, Dr. Russell Taylor, Peter Janson and Harvey Weiner made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 11:10 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:15 a.m., the sitting resumed.

David Robinson, Gary Shaddock, Harvey Wiener, John Staple, Ian Boyko, Gerald Brown and Liam Arbuckle made statements and, with the other witness, answered questions.

At 12:38 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
