The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met at 9:06 a.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Charles Hubbard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: David Anderson, Rick Borotsik, Murray Calder, Marcel Gagnon, Charles Hubbard, Bob Speller, Rose-Marie Ur.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Frédéric Forge and Jean-Denis Fréchette, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From Pulse Canada: Germain Dauk, Chair; Lyle Minogue, Chair, Saskatchewan Pulse Growers. From the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan Inc.: Terry Hildebrandt, President; Cecilia Oliver, Director.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), Briefing Session with Pulse Canada regarding the Canada's Pulse Industry.
The witnesses made a presentation and answered questions.
At 10:02 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 10:09 a.m., the sitting resumed.
