The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met at 3:35 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Bill Graham, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Jean Augustine, Colleen Beaumier, Bill Graham, Francine Lalonde, Denis Paradis, Bernard Patry, Yves Rocheleau.
Acting Members present: Gurmant Grewal for Deepak Obhrai; Dennis Gruending for Svend Robinson.
Associate Member present: Eleni Bakopanos.
From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: James Lee and Gerald Schmitz, Research Officers.
Appearing: From the Canadian International Development Agency: Maria Minna, Minister for International Cooperation.
Witness: From the Canadian International Development Agency: Len Good, President.
Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), and the Order of the House of February 29, 2000, the Committee examined the Main Estimates 2000-2001 and the Report on Plans and Priorities for the Canadian International Development Agency.
Hon. Maria Minna made an opening statement and, with Len Good, answered questions.
At 5:10 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
