The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met jointly in a televised session at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chairs, Bill Graham and Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Jean Augustine, Colleen Beaumier, Maud Debien, Bill Graham, Francine Lalonde, Keith Martin, Denis Paradis, Bob Speller.
Members of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs present: Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Art Hanger, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, Pat O'Brien, Bob Wood.
Acting Member present: Jacques Saada for David Pratt.
From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: James Lee and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers. From the Committees and Associations Directorate: Eugene Morawski, Committee Clerk.
