Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, November 16, 2020, the committee resumed its study on questions of conflict of interest and lobbying in relation to pandemic spending.

It was agreed, — That Craig Kielburger and Marc Kielburger be permitted to be assisted by counsel when they appear in relation to the study on questions of conflict of interest and lobbying in relation to pandemic spending.

On motion of Michael Barrett, ORDERED, — That the evidence to be given by Craig Kielburger and Marc Kielburger in relation to the study on questions of conflict of interest and lobbying in relation to pandemic spending be taken under oath.

Craig Kielburger and Marc Kielburger, duly sworn in, made a statement and answered questions.

At 3:25 p.m., Brenda Shanahan took the Chair.

At 3:31 p.m., Chris Warkentin took the Chair.

At 4:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:07 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 4:13 p.m., Brenda Shanahan took the Chair.

Pierre Poilievre gave notice of the following motion:

That, Craig and Marc Kielburger provide the committee with the total amount that they and their affiliated organizations have paid to the Trudeau family before the end of these hearings and that they be recalled to appear before the committee should the amounts not be provided by the conclusion of the study.

At 4:21 p.m., Chris Warkentin took the Chair.

At 5:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:12 p.m., the sitting resumed.

On motion of Han Dong, it was agreed on division, — That the committee do now adjourn.

At 5:46 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
