M-145 Sikh Heritage Month

Motion Text

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should recognize the contributions that Sikh-Canadians have made to Canadian society, the richness of the Punjabi and Gurmukhi language and culture, and the importance of educating and reflecting upon Sikh heritage for future generations by declaring April, every year, Sikh Heritage Month.
