Motion No. 1 — June 15, 2021 — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change — That Bill C-12, in Clause 7, be amended by replacing subclause (4) with the following:	Motion n^o 1 — 15 juin 2021 — Le ministre de l'Environnement et du Changement climatique — Que le projet de loi C-12, à l’article 7, soit modifié par substitution, au paragraphe (4), de ce qui suit :
(4) The Minister must set the national greenhouse gas emissions target	(4) Le ministre établit la cible nationale en matière d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre :
(a) for the 2035 milestone year, no later than December 1, 2024;	a) pour l’année jalon 2035, au plus tard le 1^er décembre 2024;
(b) for the 2040 milestone year, no later than December 1, 2029; and	b) pour l’année jalon 2040, au plus tard le 1^er décembre 2029;
(c) for the 2045 milestone year, no later than December 1, 2034.	c) pour l’année jalon 2045, au plus tard le 1^er décembre 2034.


Motion No. 2 — June 11, 2021 — Mr. Redekopp (Saskatoon West) — That Bill C-12, in Clause 22, be amended by replacing line 32 on page 12 to line 9 on page 13 with the following:	Motion n^o 2 — 11 juin 2021 — M. Redekopp (Saskatoon-Ouest) — Que le projet de loi C-12, à l'article 22, soit modifié par substitution, au passage commençant à la ligne 37, page 12, et se terminant à la ligne 8, page 13, de ce qui suit :
“(2) The Minister must make the annual report available to the public within 30 days after receiving it and then, within 120 days after receiving the report, the Minister must publicly respond to the advice that the advisory body includes in it with respect to the matters referred to in paragraphs 20(1)(a) to (c), including any national greenhouse gas emissions target that is recommended by the advisory body if the Minister has set a target that is different from it.”	« (2) Dans les trente jours suivant la réception du rapport annuel, le ministre le rend public et, dans les cent vingt jours suivant sa réception, il répond publiquement à tout conseil qu’il contient concernant les questions visées aux alinéas 20(1)a) à c), y compris toute cible nationale en matière d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre que l'organisme consultatif recommande et qui diffère de celle que le ministre a établie. »


Motion No. 3 — June 15, 2021 — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change — That Bill C-12, in Clause 22, be amended by replacing subsection (2) with the following:	Motion n^o 3 — 15 juin 2021 — Le ministre de l'Environnement et du Changement climatique — Que le projet de loi C-12, à l’article 22, soit modifié par substitution du paragraphe (2), par ce qui suit :
(2) The Minister must make the annual report available to the public within 30 days of receiving it and then, within 120 days of receiving that report, the Minister must publicly respond to the advice that the advisory body includes in it with respect to matters referred in paragraphs 20(1)(a) to (c), including any national greenhouse gas emissions target that is recommended by the advisory body if the Minister has set a target that is different from it.	(2) Le ministre rend le rapport annuel disponible au public dans les 30 jours de sa réception par le ministre et répond ensuite publiquement dans les 120 jours de la réception du rapport annuel par le ministre à tout conseil contenu dans le rapport annuel de l’organisme consultatif concernant les matières visées aux alinéas 20(1)a) à c), notamment lorsque le ministre a établi une cible nationale des émissions de gaz à effet de serre qui diffère de celle qui lui avait été recommandée par l’organisme consultatif.


Motion No. 4 — June 15, 2021 — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change — That Bill C-12 be amended by replacing, in the French version, Clause 27.1 with the following:	Motion n^o 4 — 15 juin 2021 — Le ministre de l'Environnement et du Changement climatique — Que le projet de loi C-12 soit modifié par substitution, dans la version française, de l’article 27.1, par ce qui suit :
27.1 Cinq ans après la date d’entrée en vigueur de la présente loi, un examen approfondi de ses dispositions et de son application est fait par un comité soit du Sénat, soit de la Chambre des communes, soit mixte, que le Sénat, la Chambre des communes ou les deux chambres, selon le cas, désignent ou constituent à cette fin.	27.1 Cinq ans après la date d’entrée en vigueur de la présente loi, un examen approfondi de ses dispositions et de son application est fait par un comité soit du Sénat, soit de la Chambre des communes, soit mixte, que le Sénat, la Chambre des communes ou les deux chambres, selon le cas, désignent ou constituent à cette fin.
