Enumeration of Rights Holders in the Next Census

Ottawa, March 13, 2020

The House of Commons Standing Committee on Official Languages has undertaken a study on the enumeration of rights holders under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The Committee invites interested individuals, groups and community networks, as well as federal, provincial and territorial institutions, to submit a brief. Briefs must be no more than five pages long, may be written in either official language, and must be submitted to the Committee Clerk by noon on Friday, March 20, 2020, using the “Submit a brief” form on the study’s web page: https://www.ourcommons.ca/Committees/en/LANG/StudyActivity?studyActivityId=10777950.
