| M-612 — December 10, 2010 — Mrs. Grewal (Fleetwood—Port Kells) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should take action to allow the free trade in wines between provinces and develop a policy in accordance with section 121 of the Constitution Act of 1867 which would specifically: (a) recognize the importance of the domestic wine industry; (b) recognize the extent to which the trade in wines is severely encumbered by the barriers raised by individual provinces to interprovincial trade; and (c) allow for the import, export, and transportation of wines throughout Canada without tariffs, excessively prohibitive taxes, or trade barriers of any kind. | M-612 — 10 décembre 2010 — Mme Grewal (Fleetwood—Port Kells) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait agir afin de permettre le libre-échange des vins entre les provinces et élaborer une politique conforme à l’article 121 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867 qui, en particulier : a) reconnaîtrait l’importance de l’industrie vinicole canadienne; b) reconnaîtrait que le commerce du vin est, dans une certaine mesure, gravement entravé par des obstacles au commerce interprovincial mis en place par quelques provinces; c) permettrait l’importation et l’exportation de vins ainsi que leur transport partout au Canada sans aucune imposition de tarifs, de taxes excessivement prohibitives ou d’obstacles au commerce. |
