ttawa, March 15, 2004 - The Standing Committee on Justice, Human Rights, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness is undertaking a study of the process by which judges are appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Organizations and individuals who are interested in submitting a written brief (maximum of 10 pages) to help the Committee in its deliberations are advised to send it to :
