M-97 Children's Commissioner

42nd Parliament, 1st Session

Motion Text

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should appoint a Children's Commissioner to: (a) promote and protect the rights of children; (b) ensure that the best interests of the child are factored into government decision-making; and (c) serve as a federal ombudsperson for children's concerns.
