At 11:00 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 30(6), the House proceeded to the consideration of Private Members' Business.

The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Aboultaif (Edmonton Manning), seconded by Mr. Albrecht (Kitchener—Conestoga), — That Bill C-223, An Act to establish the Canadian Organ Donor Registry and to coordinate and promote organ donation throughout Canada, be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Health.

The debate continued.

The question was put on the motion and, pursuant to Standing Order 93(1), the recorded division was deferred until Wednesday, June 15, 2016, immediately before the time provided for Private Members' Business.

Business of Supply

The Order was read for the consideration of the Business of Supply.

Mr. Rankin (Victoria), seconded by Ms. Quach (Salaberry—Suroît), moved, — That the House: (a) recognize the contradiction of continuing to give Canadian criminal records for simple possession of marijuana after the government has stated that it should not be a crime; (b) recognize that this situation is unacceptable to Canadians, municipalities and law enforcement agencies; (c) recognize that a growing number of voices, including that of a former Liberal prime minister, are calling for decriminalization to address this gap; and (d) call upon the government to immediately decriminalize the simple possession of marijuana for personal use.

Debate arose thereon.

Mr. Sorenson (Battle River—Crowfoot), from the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, presented the 11th Report of the Committee, "Report 1, Implementing Gender-Based Analysis, of the Fall 2015 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada". — Sessional Paper No. 8510-421-71.

Pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee requested that the government table a comprehensive response.

A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceedings (Meetings Nos. 9, 13 and 16) was tabled.
