Bill C-30, An Act to implement the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union and its Member States and to provide for certain other measures
In accordance with its Order of Reference of Tuesday, December 13, 2016, your Committee has considered Bill C-30, An Act to implement the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union and its Member States and to provide for certain other measures, and agreed on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 to report it with the following amendments:

That Bill C-30, in Clause 40, be amended by replacing line 20 on page 16 with the following:

40 Section 62 of the Act is replaced by the following:

62 A patent, or part of a patent, that is voided by a judgment shall be and be held to have been void and of no effect, unless the judgment is reversed on appeal as provided in section 63.
