The Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met in camera at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Mike Wallace, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Françoise Boivin, Blaine Calkins, Sean Casey, Bob Dechert, Robert Goguen, Ève Péclet, Kyle Seeback, Mike Wallace and David Wilks.

 

Acting Members present: Jean Crowder for Pierre Jacob and Mark Strahl for Kyle Seeback.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Lyne Casavant, Analyst; Dominique Valiquet, Analyst.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the Seventh Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:

  1. That the Committee dedicate the meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 for the consideration of a draft report on the subject matter of Bill C-583, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder).
  2. That the Committee dedicate the meetings on Monday, April 27, and on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 to examine Bill C-35, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (law enforcement animals, military animals and service animals).
  3. That the Committee dedicate the meeting on Monday, May 4, 2015, to the consideration of a draft report on the subject matter of Bill C-583, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder).
  4. That the Committee dedicate the meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, to examine Bill C-590, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (blood alcohol content)
  5. That on Monday, May 11, 2015, the Committee dedicate the first hour of the meeting to the study on Main Estimates 2015-16 and the second hour to the clause-by-clause study of Bill C-590, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (blood alcohol content) and to an open discussion with a delegation from Ukraine.
  6. That on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 the Committee dedicate the first hour and a half of the meeting to the study on Main Estimates 2015-16 and the last half hour to the clause-by-clause study of Bill C-35, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (law enforcement animals, military animals and service animals).
 

At 3:39 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
