The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met at 11:38 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, David Sweet, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: John Carmichael, Joe Daniel, Cheryl Gallant, Hon. Mike Lake, Brian Masse, Peggy Nash, Annick Papillon, Hon. Judy Sgro, David Sweet and Mark Warawa.

 

Acting Members present: Charmaine Borg for Annick Papillon, François Choquette for Brian Masse, Laurin Liu for Annick Papillon, Hon. Geoff Regan for Hon. Judy Sgro and Dave Van Kesteren for Joe Daniel.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Mathieu Frigon, Analyst; Maxime-Olivier Thibodeau, Analyst.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, October 20, 2014, and the motion adopted on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill S-4, An Act to amend the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and to make a consequential amendment to another Act.
 

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

 

At 12:54 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
