It was agreed, — That the Fifth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:
Your Subcommittee met on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:
1. That the Committee, for its meeting of Monday, March 5, 2012, with regard to Supplementary Estimates (C) 2011-2012, request the appearance of the Privy Council Office;
2. That the Committee, for its meeting of Tuesday, March 7, 2012, with regard to Supplementary Estimates (C) 2011-2012, request the appearance of the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, as well as her relevant officials;
3. That the Committee, for its meeting of Monday, March 12, 2012, with regard to Supplementary Estimates (C) 2011-2012 and the Main Estimates 2012-2013, request the appearance of the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, as well as her relevant officials;
4. That the Committee, for its meeting of Wednesday, March 14, 2012, with regard to Supplementary Estimates (C) 2011-2012 and the Main Estimates 2012-2013, request the appearance of the President of the Treasury Board, as well as his relevant officials;
5. That the regular biweekly meetings of the Committee from Monday, March 26, to Wednesday, April 4, 2012, be devoted to the study of the process for considering the estimates and supply, and that during this period the following witnesses be given priority to appear: the Auditor General; David McGee, former clerk of the New Zealand House of Representatives; Harry Evans, former clerk of the Australian Senate; Robert Marleau, former clerk of the House of Commons; John Williams, former member of Parliament and former chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts; Joaquim Warner of the London School of Economics; Allen Shick of the University of Maryland; and Donald Savoie of the Université de Moncton; and
6. That the appearance of Ned Franks, scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, 2012, with regard to the study of the process for considering the estimates and supply, be deferred to a meeting to be held between Monday, March 26, 2012, and Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
