The Legislative Committee on Bill C-11 met in a televised session at 9:01 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Glenn Thibeault, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Charlie Angus, Scott Armstrong, Tyrone Benskin, Peter Braid, Paul Calandra, Andrew Cash, Dean Del Mastro, Pierre Dionne Labelle, Mike Lake, Phil McColeman, Hon. Rob Moore, Pierre Nantel and Hon. Geoff Regan.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Dara Lithwick, Analyst; Maxime-Olivier Thibodeau, Analyst; Terrence Thomas, Analyst. House of Commons: Jean Michel Roy, Procedural Clerk.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, February 13, 2012, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-11, An Act to amend the Copyright Act.
 

Catharine Saxberg, Victoria Shepherd, Mario Chenart and Jean-Christian Céré made statements and, with Sundeep Chauhan, answered questions.

 

At 10:31 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:35 a.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Gerry McIntyre, Greg Nordal, Jacqueline Hushion, David Swail and Mary Hemmings made statements and answered questions.

 

At 12:05 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
