The Legislative Committee on Bill C-11 met in a televised session at 9:02 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Glenn Thibeault, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Charlie Angus, Scott Armstrong, Tyrone Benskin, Peter Braid, Paul Calandra, Andrew Cash, Dean Del Mastro, Pierre Dionne Labelle, Mike Lake, Phil McColeman, Hon. Rob Moore, Pierre Nantel and Hon. Geoff Regan.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Dara Lithwick, Analyst; Maxime-Olivier Thibodeau, Analyst; Erin Virgint, Research Assistant. House of Commons: Jean Michel Roy, Procedural Clerk.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, February 13, 2012, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-11, An Act to amend the Copyright Act.
 

Richard Gray, Tanya Woods, Michael McCarty and Nancy Marrelli made statements and answered questions.

 

At 10:31 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:39 a.m., the sitting resumed.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the Committee not meet on Thursday, March 8, 2012.

 

It was agreed, — That the clause-by-clause consideration of Bill C-11 begin on Monday, March 12, 2012.

 

At 12:08 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
