The Standing Committee on Finance met at 3:33 p.m. this day, in Room C-120, 1 Wellington Street, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Kelly Block, Hon. Scott Brison, Robert Carrier, Bernard Généreux, Ted Menzies, Thomas J. Mulcair, Massimo Pacetti, Daniel Paillé, James Rajotte, Paul Szabo and Mike Wallace.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Mark Mahabir, Analyst; Brett Stuckey, Analyst. House of Commons: David-Andrés Novoa, Committee Clerk.

 

Witnesses: Canada Revenue Agency: Stephen O'Connor, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Commissioner, Finance and Administration Branch; Filipe Dinis, Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Finance and Administration Branch. Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2010-2011: Vote 5b under CANADA REVENUE AGENCY and Votes 5b, 7b, L12b and 25b under FINANCE referred to the Committee on Thursday, November 4, 2010.
 

At 3:35 p.m., the Committee proceeded to sit in camera.

 

It was agreed, — That the Committee hold a meeting at 9:00 a.m on December 7, 2010 to resume consideration of the draft report on the Pre-budget Consultations 2010.

 

At 3:40 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:41 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

 

Sherry Harrison and Stephen O'connor made statements and, with Diane Lafleur and Richard Botham answered questions.

 

At 3:57 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:58 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

On motion of Ted Menzies, it was agreed, — That the Committee do now adjourn.

 

At 4:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
