The Standing Committee on Finance met at 3:28 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Bob Dechert, Jean-Yves Laforest, Hon. John McCallum, Hon. John McKay, Ted Menzies, Thomas J. Mulcair, Massimo Pacetti, James Rajotte and Mike Wallace.

 

Acting Members present: Meili Faille for Robert Carrier.

 

Associate Members present: Paul Calandra.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Mark Mahabir, Analyst. House of Commons: Travis Ladouceur, Committee Clerk.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations 2009.
 

Traci Walters, Katherine Giroux-Bougard, Helen Saravanamuttoo, Paul Stothart, David F. Podruzny, Paul Jones, Marion Wright, and John Gamble made statements and, with Fiona Cook and Paul S. Vincett, answered questions.

 

At 5:09 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
