The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in a televised session at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Gary Ralph Schellenberger, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, the Committee resumed its study on the evolution of the television industry in Canada and its impact on local communities.
 

André Bureau, John Cassaday and Michel Roy made a statement and, with S. Wayne Clarkson, answered questions.

 

At 4:32 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:39 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Pierre-Louis Smith, Tara Rajan, Sylvain Racine, Gérald Gauthier, Michèle Fortin, Tim Caddigan and Maureen Tilson Dyment made statements and answered questions.

 

At 5:46 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
