| Pursuant to section 7 of the Centennial Flame Research Award Act, the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities is pleased to submit its 2006 annual report on the administration of the Centennial Flame Research Award Act. | Conformément à l’article 7 de la Loi sur la bourse de recherches de la flamme du centenaire, le Comité permanent des ressources humaines, du développement social et de la condition des personnes handicapées a le plaisir de remettre son rapport annuel de 2006 sur l’application de la loi. |
| On Thursday, 19 October 2006, the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities adopted the following resolution: “It was agreed, – That Shirley Soleil be the recipient of the 2006 Centennial Flame Research Award.” | Le jeudi 19 octobre 2006, le Comité permanent des ressources humaines, du développement social et de la condition des personnes handicapées a adopté la résolution suivante : « Il est convenu, – Que Shirley Soleil soit la lauréate de la Bourse de recherches de la flamme du centenaire, édition 2006-2007 ». |
| Ms. Audrey King, recipient of the 2005 Award, submitted her research report, entitled But they never looked at me to the Committee. On November 6, 2006, Mr. Dean Allison, Chair of the Committee, sent a letter of thanks to Ms. King, together with a cheque in the amount of $2,225 representing the second and final instalment of the Award. | Madame Audrey King, récipiendaire de la Bourse en 2005, a remis son rapport de recherches, intitulé Mais ils n’ont jamais regardé QUI je suis au Comité. Le 6 novembre 2006, M. Dean Allison, président du Comité, a fait parvenir une lettre de remerciement à Mme King, accompagnée d’un chèque de 2225 $ à titre de second et dernier versement du montant de la bourse. |
