Tuesday, April 8, 2003

The Subcommittee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 11:15 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Carolyn Bennett, presiding.

Members of the Subcommittee present: Carolyn Bennett, Reed Elley, Wendy Lill.

Acting Member present: Pauline Picard for Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral.

In attendance: From the Committees Directorate:: Rémi Bourgault, Committee Clerk. From the Library of Parliament: Bill Young, researcher.

Witness: From the "Université de Sherbrooke": Dr. Patrick Loisel, Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Longueuil Campus.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Subcommittee resumed its study of Canada Pension Plan Disability. (See Minutes of Proceedings of Wednesday November 20, 2002, Meeting no. 1).

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:10 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
