Monday, May 5, 2003
The Special Committee on the Modernization and Improvement of the Procedures of the House of Commons met in camera at 5:45 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Bob Kilger, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Hon. Don Boudria, Libby Davies, Michel Gauthier, Monique Guay, Bob Kilger and Werner Schmidt.
Acting Members present: Gerald Keddy for Loyola Hearn and Paul Szabo for Stan Keyes.
In attendance: From the House of Commons: Diane Diotte, Procedural Clerk. From the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, Analyst.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the House of Commons on
Thursday, November 28, 2002, the Committee resumed consideration of its study
of the modernization and improvement of the procedures of the House of Commons
(See Minutes of Proceedings of Thursday, December 5, 2002).
The Committee considered some preliminary party proposals.
At 7:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
