The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:14 a.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, David Pratt, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Claude Bachand, Leon Benoit, Robert Bertrand, Cheryl Gallant, Dominic LeBlanc, Joe McGuire, Anita Neville, David Pratt, David Price, Elsie Wayne.
Acting Member present: Bob Wood for Ivan Grose.
In attendance: Barry Hamilton, Consultant.
Witnesses: From the Kyrgyz Republic: Hon. Abdygany Erkebaev, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly; Tashpolot Baltabaev; Asan Raimkulov; Zakir Sharapov.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee met with members of the Delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Hon. Abdygany Erkebaev made a statement and answered questions.
At 10:46 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
