Meeting No. 11

Tuesday, December 4, 2001

The Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Carolyn Bennett, presiding.

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Wendy Lill, Larry Spencer, Tony Tirabassi.

In attendance: From Library of Parliament: Bill Young and Kevin Kerr, Research Officers.

Witnesses: From the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association: Colin Cantlie, President; Janice McNamara. From the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada: Deanna Groetzinger.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-Committee resumed its study of the current operation of the Disability Tax Credit form T2201, (See Minutes of Proceedings of Tuesday, November 27, 2001, Meeting no. 10).

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 5:26 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
