QUINZIÈME RAPPORT

In accordance with its Order of Reference of Tuesday, February 19, 2002, your Committee has considered the subject-matter of Bill C-284, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (offences by corporations, directors and officers).

Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du mardi 19 février 2002, votre Comité a étudié l’objet du projet de loi C-284, Loi modifiant le Code criminel (infractions commises par des personnes morales, administrateurs et dirigeants).

Your Committee has agreed on Thursday, June 6, 2002, to recommend that the Government table in the House legislation to deal with the criminal liability of corporations, directors, and officers.

Il a convenu, le 6 juin 2002, de recommander que le gouvernement dépose à la Chambre une mesure législative portant sur la responsabilité criminelle des sociétés, des administrateurs et des dirigeants.

In accordance with Standing Order 109, the Committee requests that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

Conformément à l'article 109 du Règlement, le comité demande au gouvernement de déposer une réponse globale au rapport.

A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceeding (Meetings No. 84 to 87, 89 to 92 and 94) is tabled.
