The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 9:11 a.m. this day, in Grand Ballroom ‘C’ of the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel in Richmond, British Columbia, the Chair, Wayne Easter, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: John Cummins, Rodger Cuzner, Wayne Easter, James Lunney, Jean-Yves Roy.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of salmon fisheries management on the Fraser River (see Minutes of Proceedings of Tuesday, September 25, 2001).

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of problems in the Pacific Hake fishery.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), by unanimous consent, the Committee began a study on rockfish resources access.
