The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met at 10:04 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Bill Graham, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Bill Graham, Stan Keyes, Diane Marleau, Denis Paradis, Bernard Patry, Monte Solberg.

Acting Member present: Yves Rocheleau for Pierre Paquette.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: James Lee; John M. Wright.

Witnesses: From the National Council of the Slovak Republic: Jozef Migas, President; Alena Migasova; Jan Rusnak, Member of the Council; Tibor Cabaj, Member of the Council; Milan Benkovsky, Member of the Council; Marian Mesiarik, Member of the Council; Laslo Köteles, Member of the Council; Marek Estok, Director of Protocol, Cabinet of President Migas; H.E. Miroslav Mikolasik, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic.

Mr. Jozef Migas made a statement and, with the other witnesses from the National Council of the Slovak Republic, answered questions.

At 11:13 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
