FIRST REPORT	PREMIER RAPPORT
In accordance with its Order of Reference of Tuesday, November 30, 1999, your Committee has considered Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Municipal Grants Act, and agreed on Tuesday, December 7, 1999, to report it with the following amendments:	Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi de mardi le 30 novembre 1999, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi C-10, Loi modifiant la Loi sur les subventions aux municipalités, et a convenu mardi le 7 décembre 1999, d'en faire rapport avec les amendements suivants :
Clause 10	Article 10
That Bill C-10, in Clause 10, be amended by replacing line 16 on page 12 with the following:	Que le projet de loi C-10, à l'article 10, soit modifié par substitution, à la ligne 16, page 12, de ce qui suit :
"(g.1) providing that, in respect of a taxation year starting on or after January 1, 2000, subsections 3(1.1) and (1.2) and paragraph 3.1(b) apply to corporations included in Schedule III or IV, with any modifications that the circumstances require, in respect of payments in lieu of a real property tax and a frontage or area tax and, in the case of a corporation included in Schedule IV, payments in llieu of a business occupancy tax; (g.2) providing that section 11.1 applies to"	« g.1) prévoir - pour toute année d'imposition débutant le 1er janvier 2000 ou après cette date - l'application des paragraphes 3(1.1) et (1.2) et de l'alinéa 3.1b), avec les adaptations nécessaires, aux personnes morales mentionnées aux annexes III ou IV en ce qui touche les paiements à verser en remplacement de l'impôt foncier et de l'impôt sur la façade ou sur la superficie et, aux personnes morales mentionnées à l'annexe IV, en ce qui touche les paiements à verser en remplacement de la taxe d'occupation commerciale ; g.2) prévoir l'application de l'article 11.1, »
