The Standing Committee on Industry met at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Vice-Chair, Walt Lastewka, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Pierre Brien, Walt Lastewka, Gurbax Malhi, Dan McTeague, Ian Murray and Charlie Penson.
Acting Member present: Paul DeVillers for John Cannis.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Geoffrey Kieley and Dan Shaw, Research Officers.
Witness: From the University of British Columbia: William T. Stanbury, Professor, Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration.
Pursuant to the Committee's mandate under Standing Order 108(2), a Review of the Competition Act.
William T. Stanbury made a statement and answered questions.
At 4:35 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Vice-Chair.
